Why Buy Our Felt Balls?

Felt balls are one of the most versatile craft materials in the world. Made from 100% pure wool, they are soft, durable, and eco-friendly. Our felt balls are hand-rolled by women artisans in Nepal, using traditional techniques passed down through generations. They are perfect for:

Home Decor: Felt ball rugs, mats, garlands, and wreaths.
DIY Crafts: Jewelry making, keychains, and ornaments.
Baby Products: Mobiles, pacifier clips, and nursery decor.
Eco-Friendly Living: Wool dryer balls to reduce drying time.
Events: Weddings, parties, and seasonal decorations.

About Felt Wool & Felt Sheets

Felt is one of the oldest textiles in human history. Unlike woven fabrics, felt is made by matting, condensing, and pressing wool fibers together. This creates a dense, durable, and insulating material that is naturally water-resistant and soft to the touch. Our felt balls are:

Eco-friendly: Made from renewable wool, biodegradable, and dyed with non-toxic colors.
Durable: Felt does not fray, so it holds its shape for years.
Soft & Lightweight: Perfect for jewelry and baby products.
Colorfast: Our eco-friendly dyes resist fading.
Unique: Every felt ball has slight variations in texture and color.

Uplifting Nepali Women Through Fair Trade

At Nepal Art Shop, we work directly with women's cooperatives in Kathmandu and surrounding villages. These women are skilled artisans who have been crafting felt products for generations. By providing fair wages, safe working conditions, and consistent orders, we help them:

Support their families and send their children to school.
Gain financial independence and decision-making power.
Preserve traditional Nepali crafting techniques.
Build a sustainable future for their communities.
